How does this service work?

Sourcing an Electrician can be quite involved as Electricians are often difficult to get hold of and you really need to talk to a few before deciding how to proceed with your requirements.  By filling in the details above you will be given full contact details for our member Electricians covering your area.  In addition, your contact details will be forwarded to each of the Electricians listed.  You will be able to make contact with any of the Electricians listed, reasonably quickly and efficiently.

How do you know if an Electrician is Competent?

It is important that any electrical installation work is completed only by persons who are competent.  Such persons are those that have the necessary skill, knowlege, and experience to enable them to avoid dangers to themselves and others that electricity can create.  It is strongly recommended that you use an Electrician who is registered with one of the government-approved schemes to carry out any electric installation work that you need doing.

Registered Electricians will work in conformance with the UK national standard, BS 7671 - Requirements for Electrical Installations.  They will issue safety certificates for their electrical work to confirm that the installation has been designed, constructed, tested and inspected, in accordance with the standard.

You should ensure that your chosen Electrician is registered with one of the following organizations:

Yes thank you the website did operate OK but I didn’t request estimates I just looked to see who was available.  3 of them contacted me (the most local) aware I was showing interest.
