Promptness of response :  We were let down by a previous surveyor after waiting for a month (no blame - just due to their illness), so we were pleased that A Jestyn Coke were able to step in and arrange a HomeBuyer report survey for us at fairly short notice (two weeks). They then sent us the completed report eight days later.
Quality of service :  The report (received today) seems to be full and complete (within the usual caveats anyway) and the surveyor had briefly commented specifically on two areas we had asked him to look at in particular.
Value for money :  The HomeBuyer report worked out to be a bit less expensive than a couple of the others we had considered, including the one that let us down. And the surveyor also provided us with a market valuation and a rebuild cost for insurance purposes which one or two other surveyors said they couldn't or wouldn't do.
Professionalism :  All dealings were efficient and via email. We were told in advance when the survey would be carried out (and when we could expect the completed report), and on the form we asked them to comment on a couple of specific points, which they did in the report. We didn't hear anything further until we received the report. It might have been nice if they had sent one or two other emails (such as confirming on the day that the survey had been carried out), but that's just a minor point. We would be quite happy to use this surveyor again if we needed one.

Quality of service :  I purchased a full structural survey, valuation and costing to any repair. Their report was the best report I have ever seen and so very thorough!
Value for money :  Best investment I have ever spent! The quality of a report is very important as it gives you the leverage needed, when/if issues occur, to reduce housing offers you have made on a house or for remortgage/insurance. Had I not got all this detail I would have made some very grave mistakes on house purchases. Estate agents and sellers are never truthful.
Professionalism :  Very professional and very good work!
