Schedule of Condition
A Schedule of Condition is usually a photographic record of a building with a written report of its condition, carried out by a Chartered Surveyor, and can be required for many reasons including:
To record the condition of a building at the beginning of a lease so that any required repairs can be identified and carried out prior to signing the lease.
To record the condition of a building before works start on neighbouring buildings
To record the condition of a building and enable a planned maintenance programme to be prepared and costed.
- To provide a regular record of the condition of a property portfolio and monitor the maintenance or deterioration of the buildings
