Promptness of response :  I was impressed by the sample survey John Boret provided and his price was far more reasonable than the surveyor my real estate agent recommended.
Quality of service :  The only drawback was a delay in receiving my report which I had to chase up and what followed was a bit farcical as at first he said I hadn't paid yet even though I had so I had to send him screen grabs from my online banking to prove that I had made payment the day before the scheduled survey. He apologised and said he had mistaken me for someone else and sent through a survey... for another property! So I had to get in touch again and finally received my survey. I think it was just a bit of an unfortunate blip as he was very professional in every other way.
Value for money :  The survey was very thorough and illustrated with photos of various parts of the property.
Professionalism :  I had queries about the property after reading the survey (it all seemed very doom and gloom!) and spoke to John who was very reassuring over the phone so I can give a positive review of his after care service.

Quality of service :  I was disappointed that the gas central heating system was not checked for correct operation and functionality Building Surveys Bob R, South West London December 2015 Member's comments:I was surprised and a little disappointed to receive this comment as this was something that Mr R never mentioned to me in our previous emails and correspondence. This is an extract from the terms and conditions that I sent him. B2 The services are inspected (except, the case of flats, for the drainage, lifts and security systems), but JRMB does not test or assess the efficiency of electrical, gas, plumbing, heating or drainage installations, or compliance with current regulations, or the internal condition of any chimney, boiler or other flue. Also JRMB does not research the presence (or possible consequences) of contamination by any harmful substance. However if a problem is suspected in any of these areas, advice is given on what action should be taken. In this instance the system was quite complicated and we were worried about re setting the system after we had tested it. These are comments in the report. Which I felt at the time was all we could really say. 'Central heating is provided by a gas fired boiler located in the kitchen. The boiler serves a system of steel panelled radiators. The system should be seen running and evidence of recent regular and satisfactory servicing should be obtained. If is not possible to see the system running or to obtain such evidence the system should be tested and serviced by a gas Safe registered contactor prior to legal commitment to purchase. The system was not in operation at the time of my inspection and I have seen no evidence of its service history. Pressurised systems of this type require correct servicing and maintenance to ensure efficiency and safety. A precautionary safety check is essential. A maintenance contract is also recommended. Condition rating 3.'

Quality of service :  John was happy to conduct the survey straightaway and deliver his report within 5 working days. He was also very understanding and had no issue when he had to re-arrange the survey appointment as the estate agent could not find the house keys!
Value for money :  John gave us the cheapest quote but still provided a well detailed report, with lost of useful tips and recommendations. I would definitely recommend John Boret ansd his services.
