We specialise in Party Wall Act matters acting for Building Owners, Adjoining Owners or as an Agreed Surveyor acting for both sides.
Party Wall can be a difficult area of Building Legislation and it is important to ensure that you receive the correct advice. Many 'surveying firms' claim to be Party Wall specialists but neither the firms or the surveyors are members of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors - you should always check this before instructing a firm to act for you, particularly as you cannot change surveyors once they've been appointed.
Nicholas Lewis specialises in the Party Wall Act and is a member of the RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors), The Faculty of Party Wall Surveyors and is also the chairman of the Kent area Pyramus & Thisbe Club – 'The organisation for professionals specialising in Party Wall matters'.
